Guajardo Elementary, Texas City

The school counseling program at Guajardo Elementary brings mental health to the forefront of the counseling program. Guajardo Elementary will take part in Children’s Mental Health Acceptance activities by teaching a lesson on inclusivity and respect for what makes us different. Kindergarten to 2nd grade will create coping skills shields and 3rd to 4th grade will utilize role play and different scenarios to practice different mental health skills.
